Introduction
The ROTOR software for both the ROTOR HDA and ROTOR+ is very easy to use. The following videos demonstrate the use of the Backup Function for each version of the ROTOR.
Before the dispatch of the ROTOR(+) a backup of the parameters and other log files are stored on file with Singer Instruments. This means that should there ever be a problem with the MCI (Machine Control Interface) it is possible to replace these files.
The following videos demonstrates how to backup these files including recent log files and User-created files.
Please Note : This video was created without a connection to a ROTOR so it is showing as being offline. The ROTOR(+) should be online (connected) when using these features.
Note: To identify the difference between ROTOR (pre- July 2021) and ROTOR+ please see this article : What model of ROTOR do I have - ROTOR / ROTOR+?
