What external factors should be considered which can affect the accuracy

There are a number of factors which can affect the accuracy and effectiveness of SQWERTY. Most of them are included in the articles in other sections of SQWERTY-Pipetting - Robot Category.

There are two that main external factors that should be considered.

Vibrations

Vibrations from other lab equipment on the same bench or from seismic activity can cause the formation of droplets. If the source of the vibrations cannot be removed (preferable) then using a larger travelling air gap will mitigate against liquid loss.

Radiation

Radiation either from the liquids themselves or from other external sources can also affect the liquid chemical properties and thus the fluid dynamics.
