Answer
Liquid Level Detection (LLD) is when SQWERTY moves slowly down the z-axis towards the liquid surface aspirating small volumes as it goes. When liquid is aspirated rather than air, SQWERTY will detect a pressure change if the pressure change is greater than the threshold established in the liquid class then SQWERTY will register that position in the Z-axis as the surface level.
SQWERTY will then descend the further distance set as the LLD extra travel before aspirating.
Inaccuracies in object files and unoptimised liquid classes/advanced parameters can all effect the effectiveness of LLD and LLT.
