What model of ROTOR do I have - ROTOR / ROTOR+?

Answer: 

In 2021 Singer Instruments developed a new and updated version of the ROTOR which has been produced since 2006.

The original ROTOR was updated to ROTOR+ due to the discontinuation of some of the parts supplied by external companies. This includes the motor drives and internal microprocessors. Our engineers developed our own motor drives and microprocessors so that Singer Instruments had more control over future development.

In 2024 the ROTOR+ was updated again although from the customer point of view it looks the same as the previous ROTOR+. The changes were to do with the internal components. This will enable better remote support of the ROTOR+ as well as enabling us to keep up with current industry technologies. 

As there are no obvious visible changes the name ROTOR+ remains.

The pictures below show the obvious differences between the two ROTOR models.
