How to drain the water from the ROTOR(+) compressor (Video)

Answer : The ROTOR software will periodically advise the user to check the oil and water for the compressor. The user manual for the compressor can be found here Where can I find the Compressor Manuals?. Unfortunately, some of the instructions in the manuals are not very easy to understand.

The video below shows a short demonstration of how to drain the water. Have the sound on to hear what it will sound like when the liquid is being drained.

Note: This procedure also applies to the newer ROTOR+ (Supplied after August 2021)

Preparation 

• A short piece of tube to fit the drain tap (supplied with compressor)
• An old container or something that is easily cleaned
• Turn the compressor on so that it is charged with air during the process.
