Answer : When transferring from liquid to agar on the ROTOR+ the volume transferred is approximately 15nl per pin of the repad.
These results are based on pinning from a Corning™ Costar™ 96-Well, Cell Culture-Treated, Flat-Bottom Microplate for 96 density repads.
If you need to transfer more than this we recommend you use the Pairs Function in the ROTOR software. This allows the user to pin multiple times from the same source plate to the same target plate. Note : The well shape, media viscosity and media volume and organism type may affect the volume transfer so this figure is intended to be a guide and is not absolute.
