Answer : There are a few matrix routines/protocols available which are explained on the Singer Instruments Website High-throughput Cell Plating application note
The matrix protocols are special routines that are not supplied as standard with the ROTOR but anyone interested in using this method can download the attached file(s) and add it to the ROTOR software.
The attached files include routines for producing the Matrix Protocols. They can produce:
- 2 x 2 Squares
- 3 x 3 Squares
- 4 x 4 Squares
- 5 x 5 Squares
- 6 x 6 Squares
- 7 x 7 Squares
For instructions on how to install these files, please refer to this article : How to Add & Remove Custom ROTOR programs using the ROTOR Software (Video)
Please note: 7x7 Squares is the limit for the ROTOR. Due to the size of the pins on the RePads any density higher than this would cause collisions with the edges of the plate and so the ROTOR software will not run them.
