Answer:
Most widely available Antivirus products will work with Singer instruments, however, there may be certain exceptions that need to be added in order for our products to work correctly. Please check with your local IT department.
File Exceptions
For any Singer product that uses a Windows PC the following directory should be added to the Antivirus exceptions:
- C:\Program Files\Singer Instrument Company Limited\PIXL
If the antivirus still interferes then the following executable specific exceptions should be added for each product:
PIXL
- C:\Program Files\Singer Instrument Company Limited\PIXL\Software.Products.PIXL.WindowsUI.exe
- C:\Program Files\Singer Instrument Company Limited\PIXL\Software.Products.PIXL.EngineeringWindowsUI.exe

Phenobooth

PIXL hardware communicates over Modbus TCP/IP which is port 502
The PIXL API uses gRPC over port 50052
Phenobooth
PhenoBooth uses MongoDB which communicates over port 27017
