Does it matter how the plates are loaded into the PIXL?

Answer : There are some requirements that need to be followed when loading plates into the PIXL

Please Note: Lids must be removed before running the PIXL.

Source Plate : Ensure that you have the correct source bay installed. Source bays fit magnetically, simply lift the current source bay out and replace it with the correct source bay as shown below.

The source bay is the central bay shown in the image below. A1 should be placed in the top left corner of the bay.

Target bay : The target bays are color-coded and numbered. The software will show you which bays to load your target plates into. A1 should be placed in the top left corner of each bay.
