Answer : No
In the past we have tried to assist customers with imaging multi-well plates containing colonies. We have now stopped supporting this method.
Due to image reflections and other problems encountered during imaging a multi-well plate, detection is likely to be non-repeatable and rarely accurate.
We always encourage customers to use standard agar plates. Imaging is able to be used on a variety of standard agar plates and if the desired plate is not available in the software please contact the Singer Instruments Technical Support Team who will be happy to create a special plate if possible.
This does not affect Target Plates. Target Plates can be multiwell plates of various types. If the desired plate is not available in the software please contact the Singer Instruments Technical Support Team who will be happy to create a special plate if possible. What are the Plate Dimension requirements in the PIXL?
If you require more information please contact technicalsupport@singerinstruments.com for assistance.
