Introduction
Splashtop SOS will work with any Operating System assuming that the IT department at the customer end is happy for the equipment to be connected to their network.
Running Splashtop SOS
To run Splashtop SOS, first download the file from the following link: SPLASHTOP SOS
Download this directly from the PC, or copy this file to the PC of the Singer machine and double click it to open.
The software will start and show a 9 digit code, send this to your Singer Engineer
When the Singer engineer successfully connects, the Splashtop SOS software will ask for permission to continue
The file will delete after the session has finished, ensuring there is no risk to the PC security.
Permanent installation
To enable a permanent file on the PC, first open the Splashtop file and then select Settings, then Add SOS to Desktop

All remote sessions are protected with TLS (including TLS 1.2) and 256-bit AES encryption.
