What is the recommended agar volume for the Plus Plates used in the ROTOR(+)?

Answer : When using standard Plus Plates we recommend a minimum agar volume of 40ml.

Although this is the recommended volume the ROTOR will happily pin at any height of agar. The most important thing to remember when pouring plates is that the agar is flat and the meniscus is kept as small as possible. This is particularly important when working at high densities.
