What is the recommended pinning density for the ROTOR?

Ian -

Liquid: 384 has become the preferred density although as many cultures are still supplied in 96 format this is not always possible.

Solid: 1536 has been a standard for the yeast high-throughput screen community - you will never go wrong if you screen at this density.

Solid: 384 is more regularly used with Bacteria.

The 6144 - density pads accelerate the high-throughput screening research even further although the agar must be as flat as possible and the colonies can merge if grown to saturation.
